Sacramento Food Film Festival 2018 + Giveaway

March 2, 2018

The Food Literacy Center was created in 2012, the Sacramento Food Film Festival was born from the idea that we must educate the public about our food system, and work collaboratively to create positive change. They teach low-income elementary children cooking and nutrition to improve our health, environment, and economy.

The Food Literacy Center seeks to bring educational films to our region that are otherwise ignored by traditional theaters – and to create a community dialog to improve food literacy and invoke action to improve our food system.

Thank you to The Food Literacy Center, Whole Foods, and The Sac Foodies from Fleishman Hillard for allowing us to kick off the Sacramento Food Festival with a giveaway!! We are giving away a gift card to Whole Foods and two tickets to the Saturday Night Shorts ($80 value) event on April 14th and a bag of Kettle Corn. Check out our Instagram for more details to enter. Good luck!!!
